I)      Saul going to Damascus to persecute the Church (Acts 9:1, 2)

• His testimony of his zeal to persecute the church (Phil. 3:6; Gal. 1:13)

*  Be prepared for persecution (1 Pet. 4:12, 13)

II)  Saul’s conversion (Acts 9:3-7)

• The dramatic conversion of Saul (vv. 3, 4; 22:9)
• Jesus revealed Himself to Saul (Acts 9:17, 27)

III)  Saul’s new companions (Acts 9:8-31)

• Meeting Ananias, a disciple of Christ (v.10)

°  What is a disciple of Christ? (Acts 11:26; Mk. 1:17; Matt. 17:5)

• A fearful assignment for Ananias (vv.8-17)
• “Here am I, send me!” (vv.17-19)
• Saul was with the apostles (vv.26-30)
