b. The problem of spiritual degeneracy-can only drink “milk” but not take in “strong meat”
III. Lack of Skills in Applying God’s Word (vv. 13,14)
a. The problem of being unskillful or inexperience in the word of righteousness [completeness of knowledge (cf. Heb 1:2) leading to maturity (Col 1:28 cf 1 Cor 3:1-3)].
b. The problem of being undiscerning of good and evil (Eph 4:14)
Questions:
- Can you explain what "dull of hearing" means? What causes one to become dull of hearing?
- Is it enough to drink “milk” alone in our spiritual growth? What are the consequences of this?
- Why should we strive for spiritual maturity?
