It was with joy as the Primary and Junior departments returned to on-site lessons. As we hear the prayers of the children for resumption of onsite lessons and learning in class together, we are thankful for the children’s love for the word of God.
Sunday School also provides a place for the children to make friendship with fellow christians and learn to grow as disciples of Christ together, as they meditate on God’s word. The students also discuss questions, for example, a question such as “Am I truly saved?”
2nd Peter 1:10–11 says, “Brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (KJV).
And we pray that these children are growing as disciple-making Christians, living for Jesus at home, and in their schools, or wherever they are placed in. We strive to guide the children to follow Christ in true obedience – to read the Bible, to pray, to fellowship, to worship God, to sing hymns with understanding and to witness to non-believing friends, family and relatives. We look at the application of the Word in their daily lives.
